My name is David Rae. I am a Graphic Designer and Art Director, primarily working in a freelance capacity. My background includes branding, illustration, web design, and marketing campaigns. I also spent five years in-house at Kikkerland Design, where I developed a wide range of creative and technical skills. As a freelancer, I’ve collaborated with clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Westfield Malls, and The University of Glasgow.
After nearly 12 years in the industry, I’ve done a bit of everything. I’m proficient with all the necessary tools and software, but where I feel that I truly excel (pardon the self-congratulation) is in developing concepts that communicate ideas with clarity and meaning.
I love taking complex ideas, distilling them to their core, and communicating that essence through imagery. If I can understand it, then I know the message will come through clearly.
